Black Dog Restaurant
Situated at the heart of Dunedin, Black Dog Restaurant offers hearty meals at affordable prices. With its range of meals throughout the day, the restaurant brings in a wide variety of customers.
With a Brand identity already established, I was approached to work on a new menu design, along with an advertising Billboard which would serve as a "taster menu" to bring in customers.

As the restaurant attracts families with young children, it was vital that the new menus were long-lasting and could withstand mishandling and food/drink stains. We did not want to cheapen the menus by adding sleeves/laminate, and so after conversations with the print production team, we ended on a paper stock that not only had a coated surface but could also not be ripped. This initial upfront cost was quickly justified as new menus did not need to be reprinted for quite some time.
