A website upgrade to celebrate Switzerland
SwissPasses are a UK based tour provider for travellers exploring the wonders of Switzerland. Offering specialist Rail, Ski and Excursion packages across the country, they have provided memorable experiences for 30 years. They pride themselves on their expert knowledge about Switzerland and are proud to be partners with Switzerland Tourism as well as official agents for Swiss Railways and the entire Swiss Travel System.
I was approached by UK creative studio Jawbone Creative to completely re-design their existing website, bringing it into the modern era through a new brand and website design.

The existing website displayed no clear sign of a brand identity. To drive this website forward, and the brand beyond this, a new visual system was required. I worked to create a brand framework that establishes a new logo, and works off the basis of their core offering: providing memorable experiences to Switzerland. Alongside the visual aspects of the brand, I reshaped the language used across the website to inspire travel, adventure and experience.
Telling the story
Switzerland is a country with a wealth of stunning vistas, incredible views, amazing ski, and unforgettable rail experiences. To display this, and align with the brand offering, I created the website design with an image-first approach. Across the entire website, the use of imagery is central to the experience. The aim is as the customer travels through the website they cannot help be inspired and excited by what Switzerland has to offer.
The existing website had confusing navigation and hard to use booking system. I set out to create a new site map that made the journey easier using user-expected features. The website contains over 50 products, with multiple options inside each, under 4 categories.
